Fidelity Bank unveiled the Business Plus Account and Trader Support Facility at the kick off of its SME Funding Initiative named ‘SME Funding Connect’ on Wednesday, August 7, in Lagos at the Landmark Event Centre, Oniru.
The event was a platform for networking and interaction, in which participating SMEs had access to fund providers, mentors and entrepreneurs that talked them through on how and what to do in order to have access to funds for their business.
The event had close to 1000 participants, five established fund providers, and six established founders in attendance.
The Fidelity Business Plus Account is a minimal maintenance fee Current Account that comes with free Sage One accounting software and free business advisory services as well as seamless access to loans.
The Trader Support Facility on the other hand is a product designed for traders in need of working capital requirements with a N10-20 million overdraft.
The SME Funding Connect is expected to continue at Port Harcourt in the last quarter of this year and Kano in the first quarter of next year.
